Curaçao LOK framework enters final transition phase

The Curaçao Gaming Control Board confirms December 2026 sunset deadline for master licenses as 200+ operators begin direct licensing migration.

The Curaçao LOK framework represents the most significant regulatory overhaul of the jurisdiction's iGaming licensing regime since 1993. Operators must now meet enhanced AML requirements, beneficial-ownership disclosure at the 10% threshold, certified RG tooling, quarterly player-fund audits, and GLI-19 RNG certification. Total annual cost of compliance is estimated at $40,000-$80,000 on top of the $17,000 license fee.
