Avg. uniqueness

“Avg. uniqueness” is the mean word-level difference between the returned spins — higher means the variations differ more. It is a rough guide, not a plagiarism score. Spun text still reads as spun to a person and to modern classifiers; use it for volume, not to disguise thin content.

What spintax is for

Spintax is a shorthand for text with interchangeable parts, written with braces and pipes: {Play|Sign up|Join} expands to one of "Play", "Sign up" or "Join". Groups can be nested, and a template with a few groups produces thousands of variants. This tool expands nested spintax, counts the exact number of combinations, reports the spin-group count and maximum nesting depth, generates a batch of unique spins with a word-level uniqueness estimate, and flags unbalanced braces. It is used to rotate ad creatives, personalise outreach messages, and vary comment or forum text at volume.

It does not make thin content unique

Spun content does not help SEO the way it did years ago. Search engines and ad classifiers detect spun, low-information text easily, and near-duplicate pages built from spintax get filtered or penalised. Use it for legitimate variation, not to fake unique content. The uniqueness percentage here is the average share of words that differ between the returned spins — a rough guide, not a plagiarism score; a low number means your options are near-synonyms and the spins read almost the same. If you ask for more spins than the template can produce, the generator returns fewer, because it only returns unique results.

Frequently asked questions

What is spintax?
A shorthand for text with interchangeable parts: {Play|Sign up|Join} expands to one of "Play", "Sign up" or "Join". Groups can be nested, and one template with a few groups produces thousands of variants — used to vary ad copy, outreach messages and comment text at volume.
How is the combination count calculated?
For each spin group it multiplies the number of options, and nested groups multiply within their parent option. {a|b}{c|d|e} is 2 × 3 = 6; {a|{b|c}} is 3. The tool shows the exact total, capped display above a trillion.
Does spun content help with SEO or ad moderation?
Not the way it used to. Search engines and ad classifiers detect spun, low-information text easily, and near-duplicate pages built from spintax get filtered or penalised. Spintax is useful for legitimate variation — rotating ad creatives, personalising outreach — not for faking unique content.
What does the uniqueness percentage mean?
It is the average share of words that differ between the returned spins, sampled over pairs. Higher means your groups produce genuinely different sentences; a low number means most options are near-synonyms and the spins read almost the same.
Why did I get fewer spins than I asked for?
The generator only returns unique results. If you ask for more spins than the template can produce — or the reachable unique combinations run out — it stops early. Add more options or more groups to raise the ceiling.
Are nested groups supported?
Yes, to any depth — {a {b|c} d|e} works. The tool reports the maximum nesting level so you can spot templates that are getting hard to maintain.
What causes a syntax error?
An unbalanced brace — a { with no matching } or a } with no opening {. The validator points to the position. Escaping is not supported, so a literal brace inside the text will be read as spintax.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. Parsing and generation run entirely in your browser; nothing you type is transmitted or stored.
