Quickspin
About Quickspin
Quickspin is a Swedish game development studio creating premium video slots, gamification tools and, since 2023, a dedicated live-casino vertical. Founded in 2011 in Stockholm by Daniel Lindberg, Joachim Timmermans and Mats Westerlund, the studio was acquired by Playtech in 2016 for up to €50 million and now operates as a stand-alone studio within the Playtech group, with around 100 team members spread across Sweden, Malta, Ukraine, Poland and Bulgaria.
The portfolio is anchored by award-winning franchises including Big Bad Wolf, Sakura Fortune, Cash Truck, Sticky Bandits, Golden Glyph, Epic Fish and Pearl O' Plinko, with more than 140 HTML5 slot titles delivered through a single proprietary integration. The Quickspin Live vertical launched in 2023 with Big Bad Wolf Live, combining the studio's beloved IP with Playtech Live's broadcast platform.
Quickspin AB holds a Malta Gaming Authority Critical Gaming Supply Corporate Licence, a UK Gambling Commission licence through parent Playtech, an Alderney Gambling Control Commission licence, a Hellenic Gaming Commission supplier licence and a Swedish Spelinspektionen B2B Supplier licence - making it the first of six Playtech entities to receive the new Swedish licence. The studio has been Great Place to Work-certified in Sweden and has won numerous EGR B2B Awards across mobile, social and RNG software categories.
