Staff Engineer - Booking Engine - Caesars Entertainment

Caesars Entertainment's Ecommerce and Digital Product team delivers digital customer experiences across websites, apps, bots, voice and emerging channels for Caesars.com and the Caesars Rewards digital loyalty platform. Reporting to a Director or Senior Director of Engineering, the Staff Engineer operates across multiple teams as a technical authority for significant portions of the systems that power these digital capabilities, driving technical strategy alignment and architectural consistency across the department.

Drive technical strategy alignment and ensure architectural consistency across multiple teams.
Handle the most complex technical challenges: large-scale redesigns and distributed system optimization.
Serve as the escalation point for novel problems requiring deep expertise and creative solutions.
Establish patterns and standards adopted across the engineering department.

Minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience with increasing scope and technical influence.
Minimum of 2 years operating at a senior level with demonstrated cross-team architectural impact.
Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale systems using modern frameworks and DevOps practices.
Significant experience delivering digital products across web and mobile platforms.
Experience in customer-facing industries such as e-commerce, hospitality or entertainment strongly preferred.
