Job Description

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a motivated Data Protection Engineer to support the Cybersecurity Data Protection program, assisting with the implementation, operation and continuous improvement of data protection capabilities used to identify, classify, monitor and protect sensitive data across the enterprise. The engineer will work under the guidance of Lead and Principal Data Protection Engineers to support Microsoft M365 security controls, data loss prevention technologies and compliance-related evidence collection.

Responsibilities

Assist with administration, monitoring and maintenance of data protection and DLP platforms.
Support implementation and ongoing operation of Microsoft 365 data protection controls.
Assist with discovery, classification and analysis of sensitive data across enterprise repositories.
Support data-related incident response and compliance-related evidence collection and reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2-4 years of experience in enterprise technology, cybersecurity, infrastructure or systems administration.
1-2+ years of exposure to data protection, DLP, information security or Microsoft 365 security.
Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, data handling practices and sensitive data protection principles.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
