Lead DevOps Engineer - Playtech

Playtech is looking for a proactive Lead DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation and scaling of its cloud infrastructure at the new Brazilian office, with a strong focus on Kubernetes-based environments, CI/CD automation and observability.

Lead a team of Product Operations engineers and resolve the most complex DevOps tasks
Audit existing service-management processes and build a plan to improve them
Define key operational performance indicators and track them over time
Respond immediately to alerts and liaise with SL1/SL3 support tiers and third parties

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
5+ years as a DevOps/SRE engineer, including 1+ years of leading a team
Strong experience with Linux, Docker, Ansible/Puppet, Jenkins, AWS and Kubernetes/Nomad
Experience writing infrastructure as code with Terraform and working with Grafana, Prometheus and the Elastic Stack
