About Hacksaw Gaming
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Malta, Hacksaw Gaming is a B2B content studio specialising in mobile-first slots, scratchcards and instant-win games. Built on a modern, scalable Remote Gaming Server (RGS), the studio has released a steady stream of disruptive titles - including Chaos Crew, Wanted Dead or a Wild, Le Bandit and the Dare2Win instant-win series - now live across more than 3,000 casino brands in 35-plus regulated markets. The operating entity is a subsidiary of Hacksaw AB, a Swedish public company listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
In 2023 Hacksaw extended its platform on a B2B basis as OpenRGS, letting third-party studios build game clients on Hacksaw's frontend framework while Hacksaw's RGS handles the backend, mathematics and compliance. Partner studios on OpenRGS include Bullshark Games, Backseat Gaming and NowNow Gaming, with Hacksaw Ventures taking minority stakes in selected partners as part of an investment and acceleration arm for early-stage gaming companies.
Hacksaw is licensed and regulated in 14-plus jurisdictions, including the Malta Gaming Authority, UK Gambling Commission, Hellenic Gaming Commission, Swedish Spelinspektionen and several U.S. states. Games are certified by independent testing labs including eCOGRA, and the group targets more than 30% annual revenue growth alongside a policy of returning most net profit to shareholders through dividends and buy-backs.
