Data Platform Engineer ( Kafka Oriented) - Nuvei

We are hiring a Data Platform Engineer for our Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel team. You will operate and evolve our enterprise Kafka ecosystem, the company's central data streaming platform, supporting a major migration to the cloud.

This is a hybrid role with private medical insurance, a global bonus plan and the flexibility to combine office and remote work.

• Operate and monitor Kafka environments across Confluent Cloud, Confluent Platform and Kubernetes

• Troubleshoot production incidents, participate in on-call and perform root-cause analysis

• Manage topics, partitions, retention, ACLs, consumer groups and Schema Registry

• Automate platform operations and provisioning using scripting and infrastructure-as-code

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka

• Hands-on experience with Confluent Platform and/or Confluent Cloud

• Experience supporting production systems on Linux

• Scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
