Senior Information Security Engineer - Betsson Group

Betsson Group is a global engineering organisation building high-scale, real-time platforms across 40+ digital brands, with more than 2,800 colleagues representing 75+ nationalities.

We are hiring a Senior Information Security Engineer for our Malta team, playing a critical role in protecting the organisation's information systems across Security Operations, Incident Response, and Governance.

This is a full-time hybrid position combining hands-on technical work with technical leadership and mentoring.

Lead advanced vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and threat modeling
Provide technical guidance to the SOC team on complex threats and APT scenarios
Design architectures for new security tools, automations, and workflows
Lead incident response efforts for critical security events
Provide expert-level input during the creation and enforcement of security policies

Strong experience across Security Operations, Incident Response, and Governance
Experience leading vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
Ability to perform forensic investigations and root-cause analysis
Experience mentoring junior security team members
Strong understanding of security policy creation and enforcement
