Senior Java Developer - ComeOn Group

We are hiring a Senior Java Developer for our Katowice, Poland team (also open in Stockholm, Sweden). You will work with all parts of the system across the development process, including integrations with external systems, internal components and modern technologies such as Java, Kafka, Docker and MongoDB.

• Work with all parts of the system and all stages of the development process in a team-oriented environment

• Build integrations with external systems and develop internal components and subsystems

• Develop frontend functionality for mobile and desktop devices when needed

• Work closely with the business side of the organization to develop and implement new features

• Read and modernize legacy code written over 15 years by around 60 developers in risk-averse increments

• Deep experience using Java, with about 6+ years of previous work experience

• Experience with web application and service development

• Solid SQL knowledge and understanding of getting legacy code under test

• Curious and willing to discuss and exchange knowledge with team members

• Fluent in written and spoken English
