Senior Software Engineer, Java - Light & Wonder

Light & Wonder is a global leader in cross-platform gaming, connecting land-based and digital content through its OpenGaming platform and studio network.

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Java for our Marousi, Greece team. This role works within a high-performing agile team alongside engineers, architects and DevOps to shape and implement technology deliverables driving Light & Wonder's iGaming strategic initiatives.

Participate in all stages of the software product development lifecycle
Design and implement Java-based backend services
Collaborate with Software Architects, QA and DevOps engineers
Contribute to strategic initiatives on the OpenGaming platform
Support code quality and engineering best practices

Strong experience with Java backend development
Experience working in an agile, cross-functional team
Understanding of software architecture principles
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps collaboration
Background in iGaming platforms a plus
