Definition
"Tovarka", from the Russian for "goods", is the affiliate vertical of physical-product e-commerce offers sold through direct-response funnels — gadgets, watches, home and kitchen items, toys, health and beauty devices, and similar single-product or small-bundle deals. Offers pay per delivered order (in cash-on-delivery markets) or per confirmed sale, and the vertical runs on push, native, teaser and social traffic in emerging markets where COD is the norm.
The economics are the same shape as nutra: a single-product landing page, a phone-confirmed order, delivery, and cash collection, with the affiliate's real payout gated by the buyout rate — the share of confirmed orders that are actually delivered and paid for. A headline $15 per delivered order at a 50% buyout is an effective $7.50 per confirmed lead, and a call centre's contact rate and upsell performance move the number further.
In context
For an iGaming affiliate, tovarka is an adjacent vertical that uses the same traffic sources and buying skills but a completely different product and payout structure. It is unrelated to gambling, and there is no compliance or brand-safety overlap that would make combining them a problem — but there is also little synergy beyond shared push and native accounts.
The vertical's specific risks are logistics and fulfilment. The affiliate's income depends entirely on an advertiser it does not control delivering parcels and collecting cash, so vetting the advertiser's operation — historical buyout rate, delivery time, call-centre quality, dispute handling — matters as much as the offer terms.
Product-claim regulation is lighter than nutra (no health claims on most items) but consumer-protection rules on delivery, returns and pricing still apply, and misleading "90% off, today only" creatives breach them.
Worked example
A buyer with iGaming push accounts tests a tovarka gadget offer at $14 per delivered order. The advertiser's buyout rate is 48% and its call centre adds a $5 average upsell, giving an effective payout near $7 per confirmed lead.
The buyer runs it as a secondary vertical on the same accounts, keeping gambling and tovarka campaigns clearly separated.
