Veikkaus Group reported H1 2026 sales revenue of EUR 471.3 million, up from EUR 466.4 million a year earlier. Operating profit rose to EUR 227.7 million from EUR 220.6 million, while profit for the period increased to EUR 234.2 million from EUR 229.6 million.
Digital channels accounted for 64.5% of Veikkaus Ltd's GGR, up 3.6 percentage points year-on-year, with physical points of sale generating the remaining 35.5%. Digital GGR grew 9.1% in Lottery and Land Based Gaming and 5.0% in Betting and iCasino.
Betting and iCasino GGR rose to EUR 151.6 million from EUR 146.5 million, driven mainly through digital channels. Lottery and Land Based Gaming GGR reached EUR 317.9 million, broadly unchanged, with Lottery GGR increasing to EUR 254.5 million on strong performance from the Milli game and higher Lotto jackpots, while slot machines and physical table games fell to EUR 63.4 million from EUR 71.3 million.
Veikkaus had around 2.67 million registered customers at the end of June 2026, roughly 50,000 more than a year earlier. CEO Olli Sarekoski said the company's investments in digital business and technical capabilities are delivering results, as Veikkaus prepares for Finland's move to a licence-based gambling market in July 2027.
International B2B subsidiary Fennica Gaming continued expanding during H1 2026, launching eInstants and online casino games in several markets and now operating across 21 markets on three continents.
