Data Science Team Lead - Kaizen Gaming

Kaizen Gaming, the team powering Betano, is one of the biggest GameTech companies in the world, operating in 20 markets with more than 2,700 Kaizeners across 3 continents.

We are hiring a Data Science Team Lead for our Athens team to lead and guide the team's efforts in delivering high-impact AI products, managing 5 to 7 data scientists and machine learning engineers.

This is a full-time hybrid position offering the chance to lead AI development at a Great Place to Work certified company.

Manage a team of 5 to 7 data scientists and machine learning engineers
Translate product requirements into machine learning problems with the highest business impact
Analyze data to identify significant patterns and generate insights
Implement best practices on model selection, parameter tuning, and optimization
Manage the full lifecycle of AI features from data collection to implementation

Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and production ML/AI applications
Proven experience leading and managing AI or data science teams
Experience with exploratory data analysis and feature engineering
Strong ability to run comparative experiments and evaluate ML metrics
Strong communication skills to align technical and business stakeholders
