Head of Technology, Big Data - Kaizen Gaming

Kaizen Gaming, the team powering Betano, is one of the biggest GameTech companies in the world, operating in 20 markets with more than 2,700 Kaizeners across 3 continents.

We are hiring a Head of Technology, Big Data for our Athens team. You will own the technical vision, architectural strategy, and operational execution of Kaizen Gaming's core Data Platform, leading Data Engineering across ingestion, streaming, and orchestration.

This is a full-time hybrid, senior leadership position and a member of the company's Management Team.

Own the technical vision and architectural strategy of the Big Data platform
Lead the Data Engineering function across ingestion, streaming, and orchestration
Ensure high-scale cloud platforms meet quality, reliability, and compliance standards
Directly lead a team of 3-7 team leads and a Principal Engineer
Bridge technical complexity with strategic business value as a Management Team member

Extensive senior leadership experience in Data Engineering or Big Data platforms
Deep expertise in data ingestion, streaming, and medallion architecture
Proven track record leading teams of 40-60 people indirectly
Strong ability to translate technical strategy into business value
Experience operating high-scale cloud data platforms across multiple markets
